Police said they received a report at 7.39am from passengers who found the man collapsed on a Central-bound train as it arrived at Cheung Sha Wan station. The incident temporarily disrupted MTR services along the Tsuen Wan line.

The force added that firefighters and paramedics had arrived and found the man unconscious.

He was rushed to Caritas Medical Centre in Sham Shui Po and later died at 8.47am.

The MTR Corporation said that rail services along the line were affected between 7.35am and 8.40am as a result of the incident.

β€œTrain service on the Tsuen Wan line was disrupted on September 10 because of a passenger on a train requiring urgent medical help at Cheung Sha Wan station,” the rail operator said.
