Gert van Emmenis is facing 12 counts of culpable homicide, as well as a charge of reckless and negligent driving, following the deadly crash in July 2024.
The case has been postponed several times to allow for further investigation, with Mondayโs proceedings expected to deal with the outcome of representations before the matter can move forward.
Itโs been more than two years since the deadly crash that claimed the lives of 11 children and their driver, leaving families waiting for answers and closure.
