Man asks Himanta Sarma for iPhone during crowd interaction, his reaction is viral

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma came across an unusual request while meeting people in a crowd; A man simply asked him for an iPhone.

Sarma shared a now-viral video of the interaction on Instagram, where he appeared to be greeting people when a man stepped forward with a rather direct demand.

“Sir, I want an iPhone,” the man told him.

Clearly taken aback by the request, Sarma paused and asked, “An iPhone? Do you want an old iPhone or a new one?”

The exchange then took an even more playful turn as Sarma raised his hand as though he was about to give the man a light-hearted smack. Instead, he agreed to the request, telling him, “Okay, we'll get you an iPhone. You will get it.”

Sarma then moved on, continuing to greet other people gathered around him.

Sharing the video, Sarma kept his caption short and wrote, “Very clear priorities.”

The interaction quickly caught attention online, with viewers amused by the man's confidence in making the unusual request directly to the Chief Minister. One user praised Sarma's generosity, while another wondered whether the man actually received the promised iPhone.

Someone else joked that the man's determination must be particularly strong to ask the Chief Minister for an iPhone so casually.- Ends
