A 46-year-old man was found dead inside a parked luxury car at Koramangala in Bengaluru on Sunday, barely 400 metres from the local police station.

The deceased has been identified as Salim Akbar, a native of Kodagu district.

According to the police, residents alerted the control room around 8 a.m. after noticing a man seated unresponsive inside the vehicle.

A police team rushed to the spot and found Akbar dead.

The CCTV footage from the area showed the car arriving and stopping in front of Sagar Fast Food in Koramangala’s 8th Block at around 2.30 a.m.

Preliminary investigation suggests that Akbar may have died due to sudden health complications. The police have not found any evidence of foul play.

However, the exact cause of death would be known after post-mortem and forensic analysis.

The Koramangala police have registered an Unnatural Death Report. The deceased family has been informed, and further investigation is under way.
