Man's reaction to Obsession's most shocking scene on flight leaves baby wide awake

A man watching the horror film Obsession for the first time on a flight had an intense reaction to one of its most shocking scenes - so much so that his scream left a baby wide awake on the plane.

An Instagram account, Niminomusic, shared a video capturing the moment the man sitting in front of the person filming watched the scene on the flight at night.

“This guy in front of me on this flight was watching Obsession for the first time and I managed to catch him watching THAT scene,” read the caption of the post.

The man watched the scene with bated breath before suddenly letting out a scream in shock and almost jumping out of his seat, with his reaction waking up a baby on the flight.

The scene shows Nikki suddenly appearing at a car window before smashing the glass with a large rock. She then turns the same rock on Sarah, believing that she is having an affair with her boyfriend Bear, who is also inside the car.

The scene gets increasingly brutal as Nikki strikes Sarah on the head, leaving her face covered in blood. Bear is so stunned by what he witnesses that he passes out.

The sequence is considered one of the most shocking moments in Obsession and was censored from the film’s Indian version which released in May.

Written, directed and edited by Curry Barker, Obsession is an American supernatural horror film starring Michael Johnston as Bear, a music store employee who uses a supernatural toy to make his friend Nikki, played by Inde Navarrette, fall in love with him.
