Michelle Dee promises fun with beauty queens in upcoming movie 'Red Crown' - GMA Network
Michelle Dee teased that the upcoming pageant film "Red Crown" is going to be a ton of fun.
In an interview with press at the sidelines of the Preview Ball on Thursday, the Sparkle star said the movie is going to be "so different."
"You're going to to see so many of your favorite queens doing something that is familiar but also different," she said. "It's a new format but also very similar to what we're all used to."
Michelle said she hopped on the project because GMA Pictures did a "really good job" of creating the concept.
"Its concept is just amazing, I know a lot of people will be able to relate, a lot of people will enjoy and they're gonna have fun," she said.
"Red Crown" is a satirical comedy that brings together some of the country’s well-known beauty queens and actresses.
Aside from Michelle, it stars Sanya Lopez, Faith Da Silva, Shuvee Etrata, Ahtisa Manalo, and AZ Martinez.
Also joining them are Yllana Aduana, Alethea Ambrosio, Ara Arida, Herlene Budol, Skye Chua, Haley Dizon, MJ Encabo, Gazini Ganados, Rein Hillary, Maika Kemmochi, MJ Lastimosa, Aira Lopez, Ashley Ortega, Vanessa Peña, Sandy Riccio, Jade Tecson, Tarah Valencia, Yna Angela Uy, and Yza Thalia Uy.
