Mirzapur The Movie collects Rs 5 crore on Day 17, tops Rs 300 crore worldwide

Mirzapur: The Movie continued its theatrical run with a rise in collections on Day 17, earning Rs 5 crore nett (gross minus taxes) in India on its third Sunday. According to trade website, Sacnilk, this was an 11.1 per cent increase over the Rs 4.50 crore collected on Day 16. The latest figure came from 4,402 shows across India and took the film's total India nett collection to Rs 215.70 crore. Its India gross stands at Rs 256.84 crore, while its worldwide gross has reached Rs 308.84 crore after 17 days.

The Pankaj Tripathi-led film also posted growth through its third weekend. It collected Rs 2.75 crore on its third Friday, September 18, followed by Rs 4.50 crore on Saturday, September 19, and Rs 5.00 crore on Sunday, September 20. The Sunday figure was higher than both Friday and Saturday, showing a day-on-day rise across the weekend. The film had collected Rs 148.45 crore in its first week, while its second week added Rs 55 crore to the India nett total. In the third weekend, Day 15 brought in Rs 2.75 crore from 4,112 shows with 17 per cent occupancy, Day 16 earned Rs 4.50 crore from 4,345 shows with 23 per cent occupancy, and Day 17 added Rs 5 crore from 4,402 shows with 26 per cent occupancy. With these figures, the film's cumulative India net collection reached Rs 215.70 crore.

On Day 17, the Hindi 2D version recorded an overall occupancy of 32.80 per cent. Morning shows registered 13.08 per cent occupancy, afternoon screenings recorded 40.31 per cent, evening shows had the highest occupancy at 43.62 per cent, and night shows reported 28.31 per cent. The figures showed stronger audience turnout during the afternoon and evening slots.
