Rissalpur police have recovered a woman who had been missing from her home for nearly three months, following a sustained investigation and the use of modern investigative techniques. The woman was safely traced to Islamabad and later shifted to Darul Aman in Mardan after completion of legal formalities. According to police, Karimullah, son of Hameedullah, a resident of Barabandah, had reported that his daughter-in-law, identified as N, wife of Inayatullah, left home on June 20 and subsequently went missing. The complainant told police that the woman had also left home about a year earlier but had returned on her own after three to four days. Following the report, Risalpur police entered the matter in the daily police diary and launched a formal inquiry. A case was subsequently registered against unidentified persons under Section 365 of the Pakistan Penal Code, relating to kidnapping or abduction, and efforts were intensified to trace the missing woman. A police team conducted searches at different locations and pursued various leads as part of the investigation.
