Motorcyclist, 19, injured in Yishun accident involving lorry, family appealing for witnesses - Mothership

He was in critical condition at one point, his mother said.

The family of a 19-year-old motorcyclist, who was injured in an accident in Yishun on Sep. 2, is appealing for witnesses to come forward.

In a Facebook post on Sep. 21, the mother of the injured man said her son had been involved in a serious accident and was at one point in critical condition.

The accident happened on Sep. 2 between 10:20am and noon along Yishun Avenue 1 towards Seletar Link, near Yishun Avenue 11.

His mother said the family had been unable to find any footage of the accident and appealed for witnesses to come forward.

She also urged anyone who witnessed the accident or assisted in calling an ambulance to contact the family with information that could assist with investigations.

In response to Mothership's queries, the police said they were alerted at about 11:50am on Sep. 2 to an accident involving a motorcycle and a lorry along Yishun Avenue 1 towards Seletar Link.

The 19-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to hospital conscious, and is assisting with investigations.
