Murder probe launched in lawyer's death

Police have registered a murder case over the death of lawyer Sanaullah Satti, whose body was found in a car parked at the Lawyers Club parking area of the New Judicial Complex, on the complaint of his brother, Barrister Sajjad Ahmed. The FIR mentions injuries on both elbows and shoulders of the deceased and expresses suspicion that he may have been given a poisonous substance. Police have registered the case and started investigation. According to police, Barrister Sajjad Ahmed Satti told them that he was a resident of Islamabad and associated with the legal profession. His real brother, Sanaullah Satti, was also a lawyer and lived with his family in Gulzar-i-Quaid. He had a daughter aged about one year. He said he was informed that the body of his brother, advocate Sanaullah Satti, had been found inside his car (687/BAX), parked in the driving seat in the parking area in front of the New Judicial Complex Lawyers Club, Rawalpindi. He, along with other lawyers, reached the spot and found his brother's body on the driver's seat. He said white foam and blood were coming from the victim's mouth, while apparent injury marks were visible on both elbows and on the right and left shoulders. He said the injuries indicated that the victim might have been killed by giving him some poisonous substance. Police called the forensic team to the scene, collected evidence and took into possession two mobile phones being used by the deceased. They also started the process of obtaining recordings from CCTV cameras installed at the District Courts, Rawalpindi.
