NADRA Makes CNIC Renewal Easier - ProPakistani
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has further simplified the CNIC renewal process, allowing citizens to renew their identity cards from home through the Pak ID smartphone app.
The digital service is designed to reduce visits to NADRA offices and save citizens from waiting in long queues.
According to NADRA, the facility also aims to make the registration process faster and more transparent.
Users first need to open the Pak ID app and select the “Identity Documents” option from the home screen.
They should then tap the “ID Card” icon.
On the next screen, users need to select the relevant applicant before choosing the “Renewal” option from the available list.
Applicants can then enter the required information, upload the necessary documents and complete the remaining steps by following the instructions displayed in the app.
NADRA officials said the online facility has been introduced to save citizens’ time while making the identity card renewal process quicker and more transparent.
