New York Giants worked out DT PJ Mustipher - Giants Wire
The New York Giants worked out free-agent defensive tackle PJ Mustipher on Monday, as the club continues to evaluate interior defensive line depth during the regular season.
Mustipher, a 6-foot-4, 320-pound nose tackle, signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State after the 2023 NFL draft. Denver waived him after the preseason and placed him on the practice squad. The New Orleans Saints signed him to the active roster in December 2023, and he appeared in four games that year.
He spent the 2024 preseason with the Philadelphia Eagles before landing on the Arizona Cardinalsβ practice squad. Arizona kept him for 2025, when Mustipher played 15 games and recorded 32 tackles, one tackle for loss and one pass defensed. He re-signed with the Cardinals in April, was placed on injured reserve (IR) with a foot injury on August 1 and released with an injury settlement on August 11.
The 27-year-old has recovered from the injury and is looking for a new team. A two-time second-team All-Big Ten selection at Penn State, Mustipher would offer veteran interior depth if signed.
The Giants did not immediately add him to the roster after the workout.
