Newark and Philadelphia airports ground stop update: FAA equipment outage delays flights, causes disruptions

The Federal Aviation Administration said Monday it is temporarily halting some incoming flights at Newark Liberty, Philadelphia and Teterboro airports due to air traffic control communications issues.

Flight tracking website FlightAware said more than 300 flights at Newark and Philadelphia had been delayed.
