NFL trade deadline: When do 49ers have to have deals done? - Niners Wire
The San Francisco 49ers are off in Week 8, but will return to the field for a matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders before the upcoming NFL trade deadline.
San Francisco has already begun making moves, but with their sights set on making a run for a Super Bowl this postseason, the 49ers, led by general manager John Lynch, might be more willing to complete more trades in the next week or so.
Before the deadline arrives, here are all the key details for the 49ers as it approaches.
The league's trade deadline is 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, November 10, 2026. Teams can agree to deal up until that point.
San Francisco has made just one trade leading up to the deadline, as they sent a 2027 fourth-round pick to the Indianapolis Colts to bring defensive lineman DeForest Buckner back to the 49ers, who drafted him back in 2016.
San Francisco has a talented roster, but injuries have left them thin at several positions again. Wide receiver is probably still the biggest need on offense with Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel battling injuries and the trio of Ricky Pearsall, De'Zhaun Stribling and Demarcus Robinson on injured reserve.
Defensively, they could use more help on the edge, despite Nick Bosa expecting to return soon from injury. More depth in the secondary couldn't hurt either.
