NFL world reacts to Bears signing D'Andre Swift to contract extension - Bears Wire

Just days before their regular season opener, the Chicago Bears reached an agreement on a contract extension for running back DeAndre Swift.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Swift signed a three-year, $33.75 million extension with the organization. It is his third contract in the NFL, his second with the Bears, which keeps him in Chicago through 2029.

In his first season with Ben Johnson as head coach of the Chicago Bears, Swift had a career high in both rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. He had 1,087 yards on the ground, while finding the end zone 9 times, which helped lead the team’s rushing attack that was among the best in the NFL last year.
