Nicki Minaj, a Donald Trump cheerleader, has spoken out after the GOP’s defeat at the midterm elections.
Minaj, who has become an outspoken supporter of Trump and his MAGA campaign since 2025, echoed The White House’s response to Democrats seizing control of both the House and the Senate.
She wrote Wednesday night on X: “Couple things: 1. Trump is STILL your PRESIDENT. 2. The QUEEN is STILL your OBSESSION. 3. Jesus is STILL LORD. 4. Great insight by the VICE PRESIDENT. 5. Knowledge is POWER. 6. Congratulations to all winners! Especially @RepLuna & @ByronDonalds. 7. Blowing a billion on a losing campaign full of celebrities is STILL hurting them. 8. The BARBZ are STILL PRETTY!!! 9. I don’t vote, I VETO 10. Stay tuned & STAY MAD. 11. Christians are STILL being killed. 12. Maybe now our people will WAKE UP. 13. Love you.”
In a follow-up post, she expressed support for X owner and SpaceX founder Elon Musk, who pumped more than $440 million into the midterm Republican campaign.
“Last thing: 14. Elon is STILL a trillionaire and you are STILL posting on his app. I’m sure the shareholders appreciate the dialogue. 15. #GrokBot is a phenomenal product that has significantly changed my life for the better. Thank you, @bot,” Minaj wrote.
The rapper parroted the line issued by the White House following the election results.
“PSA: TRUMP IS STILL YOUR PRESIDENT,” the official White House account posted on social media Wednesday morning, accompanied by a photograph of Trump leaning on the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office with his fists.
It echoed a message shared by White House communications director Steven Cheung in the early hours of Wednesday as Republicans were pounded with losses across the board.
“Donald J. Trump is the President of the United States,” Cheung posted. “Still your President!”
Trump has repeatedly distanced himself from Tuesday’s losses, claiming that his party would have fared better if his name was on the ballot.
The president made his first appearance after suffering the midterm losses to talk about his restoration of the White House ballroom.
For more than 20 minutes, with no mention of how he found himself outnumbered in both chambers of Congress, he spoke of the ballroom’s “magnificent” columns carved out of limestone, 50ft-high ceilings and its “drone-proof” roof.
Minaj, known for hits like “Anaconda” and “Super Bass”, had joined the president for his October 25 rally in Michigan ahead of the midterm elections, stating onstage: “I love him so much.”
In return, the president told the crowd that Minaj has “one hell of a beautiful ass” that’s “hard to miss.”
Minaj said at a February event that she is “probably the president’s number one fan, and that’s not going to change.”
