Solo ski weeks in Les Deux Alpes combine a room of your own with shared lessons and meals. Here is what the 2027 chalet packages include.

The awkward part of a ski holiday can be finding someone to go with. At Les Deux Alpes, in the French Alps, organised chalet weeks give solo travellers company for lessons and dinner, with the option of a bedroom to themselves. You can book alone without committing to a week of eating alone.

Friendship Travel’s Chartreuse and Ruby chalet weeks include seven nights, breakfasts, afternoon tea and dinner with wine on five evenings. Hosts are based in the resort. Five small-group lessons, each lasting two hours, run from Monday to Friday with European Ski School.

For departures on 27 February, 6 March and 13 March 2027, advertised prices start at £2,195 per person for sole occupancy, including return flights to Grenoble and airport transfers of around 90 minutes. On 27 February, Chartreuse also offers twin sharing from £1,795: a £400 saving in exchange for sharing your room. These are starting prices, not a promise of seats at that fare.

The lift pass and equipment hire are separate. Lunches and two evening meals also need a budget. If you are arriving from the US or are already in France, the flight-inclusive price is not a land-only quote: ask the operator for that arrangement before buying separate travel.

The operator accepts beginners and says its usual solo guests are aged 35 to 65, with no upper age limit. Before committing, establish which lesson group would take you and whether its pace suits your skiing. A sociable dinner table is useful; it cannot make everyone equally confident on a slope.

Les Deux Alpes plans its 2026–27 winter season from 28 November to 2 May. The ski area reaches 3,600 metres and has beginner terrain at 2,100 and 2,600 metres. That altitude gives learners access to high-mountain skiing too; it does not mean every lift or run operates every day.

This format makes sense if the missing piece is company, especially at meals and ski school. If choosing your own dates and timetable matters more, the fixed group week may feel restrictive. Decide whether you want a ready-made social setting before paying for one.
