Alexa Grasso was in electrifying form at UFC Fight Night 288 with another huge career win against Manon Fiorot.

Former women's flyweight champion Grasso (18-5-1 MMA, 10-5-1 UFC) is eager to get the belt back around her waist, and she took a big step Saturday on the Noche UFC main card with a unanimous victory over one-time title challenger Fiorot (13-3 MMA, 8-2 UFC). The scores were three 29-28s.

Grasso came out of the gate on fire, aggressively pushing forward on Fiorot with boxing combination and stinging her French foe. Just as Fiorot gained some respect back, Grasso scored a huge knockdown late in the first round that showed she entered the octagon on point.

Fiorot settled into the fight in the second round as she landed some good kicks and punches. She even opened a cut on the right eyebrow of the Mexican. She prompted Grasso to charge forward in the closing seconds of the frame, sending the partisan crowd into elation for the Mexican.

The corner of Fiorot told her she was down two rounds going into the third and final frame, and she showed some desperation early on. She launched kicks at her opponent, but Grasso kept her defense sharp and pushed forward with her boxing to stay busy. Fiorot came close with some heavy shots in the final moments, but ultimately she couldn't find that point of damage that swayed the result in her favor.

With the win, Grasso has now put together consecutive results in 2026 after a three-fight winless skid that included the end of her stint as champion. She couldn't follow up the highlight-reel finish of Maycee Barber in March, but becomes just the second fighter to beat Fiorot in UFC competition alongside Valentina Shevchenko.

"I don't talk too much, I just work hard," Grasso said in her post-fight interview with Daniel Cormier. "When it's coming, it's coming. I'll get that belt back one day."
