Not Dan, not Jacinta: Is the Premier proud of his predecessors? ABC News & Headlines – Australian Broadcasting Corporation
The Premier of Victoria says the state government should have acted quicker to shut down stores selling illegal tobacco.
Answering a talkback caller on 774 ABC Melbourne, Premier Ben Carroll admitted the Labor government were too slow to give inspectors with the power to shut down stores selling illicit tobacco.
Carroll was also asked by 774 Mornings host Raf Epstein whether he was proud of his predecessors, Daniel Andrews and Jacinta Allan, given he has backtracked on several of their key policy platforms.
