Actor Ali Fazal has marked Mirzapur: The Movie completing a month in theatres with a heartfelt note for the audience. The actor, who reprised his role as Guddu Pandit in the film, thanked viewers for their continued love and support and urged them to keep showing up for movies on the big screen. He also asked fans to watch Ajay Devgn-starrer Drishyam 3: The Conclusion and other recent releases in theatres.
Mirzapur: The Movie, also starring Pankaj Tripathi, released in theatres on September 4, bringing the popular crime-drama franchise from Prime Video to the big screen. The film has emerged as a commercial success and is currently the fourth-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2026.
The film continues to run in select theatres even a month after its release. Sharing a post on Instagram, Ali reflected on the film’s theatrical run and thanked audiences for keeping it going. “The grill the focus. Bring it on. My film completes a month today in theatres. The crime thriller’s impressive performance reflects the franchise’s enduring popularity, with audiences continuing to turn up to watch Ajay Devgn reprise his role as Vijay Salgaonkar.
Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay, with Shriya Saran as Nandini Salgaonkar, Tabu as Meera Deshmukh and Ishita Dutta as Anju Salgaonkar. The cast also features Prakash Raj and Jaideep Ahlawat in new roles, alongside Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla and Kamlesh Sawant.
