Online registration opens for first-ever Dasara Kambala

Online registration for the first-ever Dasara Kambala, being organised as part of the Mysuru Dasara-2026 festivities, has commenced.

The traditional buffalo race of coastal Karnataka will be held near the VTU along the Outer Ring Road at Sathagalli and is being planned as one of the major attractions of this year’s Dasara celebrations, the Working President of the Kambala Sub-Committee and Deputy Secretary (Development), Zilla Panchayat, said in a press release.

Owners of Kambala buffaloes and traditional Kambala runners can register for the event under various competition categories through the dedicated online portal. The last date for submitting applications and entries is Wednesday.

Interested participants can register and obtain details through kambala.milieumedia.in.

Those wishing to register offline can obtain application forms from the Zilla Panchayat office in Mysuru.
