Over 15,000 Uttar Pradesh teacher vacancies announced, exams in December
The recruitment process for 15,012 teacher posts in Uttar Pradesh has begun, with the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission issuing advertisements for Assistant Teachers and Post Graduate Teachers.
Commission Chairman Dr Prashant Kumar issued the advertisements on September 15. The Commission has also announced recruitment for 2,607 posts in the Lecturer cadre, commonly referred to as Post Graduate Teacher or PGT posts.
The advertisement for the two Assistant Teacher categories was issued as Advertisement No. 05/2026 on September 15. Online registration and applications will begin on September 16.
Candidates will have until October 15 to pay the application fee. The last date for making corrections in the application form is October 19.

For the 2,607 Lecturer cadre posts, Advertisement No. 06/2026 was issued on September 15. The online application process will begin on September 18.
