Pakistani actor Mahira Khan has announced that she is expecting her second child at 41, sharing the news with a baby bump picture during her time at the Toronto International Film Festival 2026. Mahira, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Raees in 2016, posted a photograph of herself in a flowing white gown as she revealed the pregnancy.

Mahira’s pregnancy comes almost three years after her marriage to businessman Salim Karim in October 2023. The baby will be the couple’s first child together and Mahira’s second. She is already mother to her 17-year-old son, Azlan, whom she shares with her first husband, Ali Askari. Azlan had also been by her side at her wedding, where he walked her down the aisle as she married Karim.
With a career across television and films, Mahira became a household name through dramas such as Humsafar and later made her Bollywood debut in Raees.
