Pakistani LeT commander killed in J&K's Budgam encounter, operation underway

A Pakistani Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander, identified as Moosa, was killed in an encounter with security forces in Gurwethkalan area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday night.

The encounter began after joint security forces launched a search operation in the area following intelligence inputs about the presence of terrorists.

The security forces cordoned off Gurwethkalan village and began searches. Moosa, described as a Pakistani LeT commander, was killed in the ensuing gunfight.
