If the Carolina Panthers are planning on switching up their offensive line, we may have to wait until Sunday to find out.

A few days ago, head coach Dave Canales acknowledged that the team is looking into making changes to their struggling offensive front. And now that the week of practice leading up to their tilt against the Denver Broncos is just about over, he was asked if he's landed on any decisions for the group.

"I won't share that," Canales replied. "We're looking at a couple of guys, and just trying to really see where we're at from a full-onβ€”who gives us the best opportunity to be able to run the ball, pass and keep that balance?"

The balance of what was once one of the league's top offenses here in 2026 has been derailed by highly-ineffective blocking. Entering Week 9, the Panthers are rostering the NFL leaders in pressures allowed at left tackle (Rasheed Walker), center (Luke Fortner) and right guard (Robert Hunt).

Quarterback Bryce Young, who was cooking up some early consideration for Most Valuable Player honors, has suffered as a result. Young took 11 sacks between the losses in Week 7 and Week 8, and passed for a combined 372 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions.

Carolina could get a bit of help from versatile sixth-year veteran Brady Christensen, who was designated to return to practice on Tuesday. Christensen has been sidelined with a hamstring injury, and could make his regular-season debut this weekend.

Canales was asked how Christensen has looked.

"He had a fantastic week," he stated. "He looks really strong. That was something I know he was focusing on. During the rehab, it was a hamstring injuryβ€”and as that resolved he was just staying on his program for building up his strength and mobility, all that."

Christensen was listed as a full participant for Wednesday and Thursday.
