Participants of the 4th Congress of the International Russophile Movement (IRM) called on Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar at the Lok Bhavan on Monday.

The team included members of the Indo-Russian Youth Club from Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

The 36-strong Indian delegation participated in the Youth Forum of the International Russophile Movement which was held in Moscow from September 16 to 19. The team had 19 members from Kerala.

Many of the participants are students of Russian language, history and international relations. The participants said that the visit provided them with the opportunity to gain a better understanding of Russia and contemporary Indo-Russian relations.

Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Thiruvananthapuram Ratheesh C. Nair, who is a member of the Executive Bureau of the International Russophile Movement, led the delegation.
