Emergency services responded to a report about a man lying in the road in front of 4801 Keele Street.
The driver, a 22-year-old man, was driving a Honda Accord when he struck the pedestrian and caused severe injuries.
The driver remained on the scene, and the 31-year-old man was declared dead just before 1:45 a.m.
The investigation is ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information about the collision to contact 416-808-1900.
