It further clarified that the personnel seen in the viral video had been killed in an attack by unidentified armed men in Tank district on September 27.

According to the statement, footage of the incident was being shared on various social media platforms with a misleading context and incorrect information, giving the impression that the incident had taken place in Peshawar.
The City Traffic Police urged citizens to verify the authenticity of news, videos and other information before sharing them on social media.
On Monday, September 28, The Express Tribune reported that three traffic wardens were martyred, and at least one other was seriously injured when unidentified armed men opened fire on a traffic police vehicle in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's (K-P) Wazirabad area of Tank district.
District Police Officer Abdul Samad said the incident took place near Shehzada Market in Wazirabad, where the attackers opened fire on the vehicle carrying traffic police personnel.
According to police, the three slain officers were identified as Constable Saleem Shah, Constable Gul Ameen, and driver Pir Fayyaz.
