PM invites US Pakistanis to invest

PM Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday invited Pakistani business personalities and professionals based in the US to invest in Pakistan, assuring them that the government was providing a conducive environment to promote investment and business activities. The prime minister, while meeting delegations of Pakistani business personalities and professionals associated with information technology, artificial intelligence, automobiles, energy, construction and other sectors, said business personalities and professionals were Pakistan's ambassadors who, through their positive contributions around the world, enhanced the country's image. He said reforms in the FBR had helped address the issues faced by the business community. He said the government was also taking measures on a priority basis to promote innovation in the agricultural sector for the development of the country's agriculture. The business and professional delegations appreciated the reforms and initiatives being undertaken under the PM's leadership in agriculture, industry and exports, particularly the reforms in the FBR.
