Police Commander Reveals Boom Panadda Faces 3 Potential Charges, Got Atip May Be Implicated in Money Laundering  Thairath English

At 09:30 on 3 Nov 2026 GMT+7, Police Major General Thatphum Charuprat, Commander of the Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECD), provided an update on the investigation into donation funds of the Good Deeds Foundation, chaired by Boom Panadda Wongpudi. He stated that today police issued summonses to two experts and media personnel to give statements: namely, Phut Apiwan, and Num Kanchai Kamnerdploy, to collect evidence concerning all donation money flows delivered to the foundation.

Major General Thatphum said that after gathering and examining preliminary evidence, police have outlined three main charges for prosecution:  1. Public fraud 2. Money laundering 3. Offenses under the Computer Crime Act.

Initial investigations found that Ms. Panadda Wongpudi, also known as Boom Panadda, may be linked to and suspected of all three charges. Meanwhile, Mr. Athip Ananthawan, also known as "Got", her husband, if investigations show he was not involved in public fraud, may face a charge of money laundering.

Following this, ECD investigators plan to summon the Good Deeds Foundation board and all related individuals for further statements to complete the case file according to legal procedures.

Later at 10:00, Mr. Phut Apiwan, a well-known journalist and news anchor, met with ECD investigators to testify as a witness regarding an 800,000 baht donation to the Good Deeds Foundation. Before entering the interrogation room, he briefly stated that he would provide detailed explanations and information directly to the police.

Additionally, reports say that Mr. Phudit Kamnerdploy, or Num Kanchai, plans to come to give statements to investigators in the same case this afternoon after finishing his program “Hone Krasae” on Channel 3.
