Police investigate fatal shooting

A man was killed in the Shahpur Kanjran area. Police and rescue officials said the victim, Sher Ali, died at the spot of a gunshot wound. The police shifted the body to a morgue for post-mortem examination. Forensics teams collected evidence from the crime scene and the police said they were investigating the death. Meanwhile, a heated argument between a young motorist and a group of transgender persons escalated into a brawl in the Defence area, with a video of the incident circulating on social media. According to police, the dispute began after the transgender persons allegedly asked the motorist for money but he used abusive language and assaulted one of them. Other transgender persons assaulted the motorist.
