Police investigate 'rape' of teen girl

The police have launched an investigation into the alleged rape of a 13-year-old girl in Asghar Colony, within the jurisdiction of Sakrand police station. Victim's mother, a resident of Hala-Bhanot, said that her daughter, S***, had come to Asghar Colony to visit her uncles. She was reportedly outside the house when a man identified as Zain Marri allegedly took her by force to a nearby banana field, sexually assaulted her and fled the scene. Following the incident, the girl's family approached Sakrand police station. Police sent the girl for a medical examination and began raids at various locations to arrest the alleged suspect.
