Pooja special trains for Keralam announced

The Southern Railway will operate express special trains (Trains on Demand) to Keralam to clear the extra rush of passengers during Gandhi Jayanti and the Pooja festival.

According to a release issued by the railways on Tuesday, Train No. 06117 Chennai Egmore -Kollam Weekly Express Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 11.40 p.m. on October 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 (Thursday) and reach Kollam at 4.20 p.m. the next day (5 services).

In return direction, the train (Train No. 06118 Kollam – Chennai Egmore Weekly Express Special) will leave Kollam at 6.45 p.m. on October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 (Friday) and reach Chennai Egmore at 12.30 p.m., the next day (5 services).

Another train (Train No. 06121 Chennai Egmore – Kollam Weekly Express Special) will leave Chennai Egmore at 11.40 p.m. on October 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31 (Saturday) and reach Kollam at 4.20 p.m., the next day (5 services).

In the return direction, the train (Train No. 06122 Kollam – Dr MGR Chennai Central Weekly Express Special) will leave Kollam at 6.45 p.m. on October 4, 11, 18, and 25, and November 1 (Sunday) and reach Dr MGR Chennai Central at 11.35 a.m., the next day (5 services).
