Pregnant doll comes with detachable baby in its belly, internet can't look away

A doll set from US-based toy company Zuru has left the internet doing a collective double take after a bizarre feature lets the doll “give birth” right before your eyes.

Instagram account Xoxo Toyz shared a video unboxing Zuru's 'My Mini Baby Mom and Baby Surprise' set, showing off the unusual feature that has viewers wondering who exactly came up with the idea.

In the video, the doll was shown with an unusually large, rounded stomach, designed to make it look as though she was pregnant.

The unboxing then revealed what made the toy particularly bizarre: The baby could actually be detached from the doll’s stomach, creating the appearance of the doll giving birth.

The tiny baby was pulled out of the doll, turning what initially looked like an ordinary baby doll set into a rather unexpected miniature delivery scene.

The doll’s large stomach and the removable baby were clearly designed to recreate the idea of pregnancy and childbirth as part of the play experience.
