Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday proposed five initiatives for "Greater BRICS" cooperation in AI, trade and investment facilitation, digital industry, smart manufacturing, and talent development.

Xi made the proposals while attending the second day of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi.

Xi said "Greater BRICS" should lay a solid foundation for practical cooperation, keep industrial and supply chains stable and unimpeded, foster integrated markets, upgrade traditional industries, develop emerging industries, and make forward-looking plans for future industries.
