Saturday, prior to the Raiders season opener against the Dolphins, the Raiders called up some reinforcements on offense. They elevate TE Chris Myarick and WR Cody White from the practice squad.

Myarick was signed during training camp after spending last season on the Dolphins' practice squad. the 6-5, 261-pounder originally went undrafted out of Temple in 2019 and signed with the Dolphins. He spent two seasons in Miami, appearing in 11 games with three starts.

The past three seasons, he has not played in an NFL game, but has bounced around on offseason rosters and practice squads for the Giants, Jaguars, Texans, and Dolphins.

His elevation gives the Raiders depth at tight end with the injury to Brock Bowers.

White was originally the lone practice squad addition who wasn't on the team's training camp roster, coming over to re-join his former OC Klink Kubiak after being cut from the Seahawks in the final roster cutdowns.

The 6-3, 220-pounder spent the past two season in Seattle and was on the squad that went on to win the Super Bowl last February. Along the way, White had 11 catches for 169 yards and a touchdown during the regular season.

His addition gives the Raiders their tallest receiver along with some experience behind starters Tre Tucker, Jalen Nailor, and Jack Bech.
