Raiders Week 3 snap counts vs Saints: Brock Bowers' big return - Raiders Wire

Brock Bowers was back on Sunday. And if you were wondering if he was good to go, I think he answered that one pretty definitively. Bowers played 55 snaps in the game (79%) and led the team with 10 catches for 116 yards and a touchdowns.

Fellow tight end Michael Mayer still had more snaps (61) than he did, mainly because Mayer is used a lot more as a blocker. He put up three catches of his own for 32 yards and a TD.

Meanwhile none of the wide receivers saw more than 40 snaps (57%). Which illustrates perfectly the situation at both the tight end and wide receiver positions for this team.

Jack Bech had just 11 snaps because he was lost in the second quarter to a forearm injury.

On defense, even with the return of Darien Porter, the Raiders stuck with the hot hand and Hezekiah Masses saw every snap at left cornerback, while Porter was relegated to special teams duties. Masses kept his strong play going by adding a third interception to his resume in just two starts.
