Rain in forecast as temperatures set for slight dip across Bangladesh
Rain has been forecast for one or two places in parts of Bangladesh, while day and night temperatures are likely to dip slightly across the country.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in its forecast for the 24 hours from 9am on Sunday that light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, may occur in parts of Rangpur, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
Elsewhere, skies may remain partly cloudy and the weather mainly dry.
Meteorologist Afroza Sultana told bdnews24.com that Sunday's drop in temperature would not be significant, while daytime temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged on Monday.
The chances of rain in Dhaka are slim over the next two days, she said, with only very light showers possible.
Chuadanga recorded the country's highest temperature at 35.4 degrees Celsius, while Dhaka's maximum was 35.2 degrees Celsius.
