The rain-bearing system from the Bay of Bengal has moved towards the Arabian Sea, ending the possibility of rainfall in the metropolis, the PMD said on Tuesday. The system brought light rain, drizzle and showers to several suburban areas, including Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Gulshan-e-Maymar, Quaidabad and Bin Qasim. Gulshan-e-Hadeed received the highest rainfall at 5 millimetres, while precipitation in other areas remained below the measurable threshold. PMD spokesperson Anjum Nazir Zigham told The Express Tribune that the system had shifted towards the sea, however, the system's residual effects could produce drizzle and light showers in some parts of the city.
