Rajasthan woman's LinkedIn rishta post leads to another matchmaking request
A Rajasthan-based woman who was earlier approached on LinkedIn by a mother looking for a bride for her son has now received another matchmaking request. This time, a family seeking a suitable match for their daughter asked if she could connect them with the mother who had first approached her.
Earlier this week, Mudrika Kavdia, a brand marketing professional from Udaipur, shared a LinkedIn message from a “cute auntie” who had asked if she was single and interested in marrying her son, who has a PhD and is settled abroad.
Mudrika has now received another message on Instagram, in which the NRI family settled in Africa asked if she could connect them with the woman who had contacted her earlier. The family is looking for a match for their 26-year-old daughter, who works as a commercial pilot in Dubai.
In a new post on X, Mudrika shared a screenshot of the Instagram message from the family. It read, “Hi Mudrika, Stumbled upon your thread regarding a mom’s request to look for a bride for her son. My daughter is a 26-year-old commercial pilot in Dubai. We are also looking for a suitable match for her. We are NRIs settled in Africa. Do you think by any way you can connect us to this lady? Our search is also on.”
“I wish this rishta gets pakka,” Mudrika wrote in the caption.
The latest message comes after Mudrika shared the unusual LinkedIn approach on September 9 from the mother who was looking for a bride for her son.
The woman, who said she was around Mudrika’s mother’s age, had politely asked if Mudrika was single, engaged or married. She said she had started looking for a suitable bride for her 1997-born son, who has a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and is settled in the US.
