Rams are now even bigger favorites vs. Eagles as spread more than doubles - Rams Wire
When the betting lines first opened this week, the Los Angeles Rams opened as 1.5-point favorites over the Philadelphia Eagles. That was prior to the Eagles’ embarrassing 27-7 loss to Case Keenum and the Chicago Bears on Monday night, and before they got some concerning injury news.
Now four days later, the spread has moved noticeably in the Rams’ favor. According to BetMGM, the Rams are now 3.5-point favorites – more than double the opening line from Monday.
A two-point shift is significant, even if it may not seem like a lot. That’s a sign of A) bettors hammering the Rams to cover the spread and B) the books accounting for possible injury absences, including DeVonta Smith.
The over/under has also dropped from 46.5 to 43 points.
It's the second straight week the Rams are on the road after playing in Denver on Sunday night, but it's their first game that isn't in prime time, so it'll be a more regular routine leading up to the game. However, playing in Philadelphia is never easy, especially in the early 1 p.m. ET time slot.
