Ranbir Kapoor treats paps to sweets; Alia, Raha and Neetu join Ganpati visarjan
Actors Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Neetu Kapoor came together for Ganpati visarjan, marking the end of their family’s festive celebrations with prayers, chants and an intimate farewell to Bappa. Videos from the visarjan surfaced on social media on Friday, showing the family taking part in the rituals as the procession moved ahead for the immersion. Ranbir was also seen greeting the paparazzi before the visarjan.
Ranbir distributed sweets to the paparazzi while calling Neetu, and Alia along with daughter Raha before posing for the pictures. The Ramayana actor took the lead in carrying the Ganpati idol during the farewell. Dressed in a rust-orange kurta with white trousers, he walked barefoot while holding the decorated idol as the family prepared for the immersion. Another clip showed Ranbir, Alia and Neetu chanting ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ together during the celebrations.
Alia was dressed in a pink and green traditional outfit, and in one of the videos, she was seen holding Raha in her arms while accompanying the family during the rituals. Neetu Kapoor, dressed in blue, walked alongside them carrying a puja thali.
One of the clips captured a cheerful moment between Ranbir, Alia and Neetu during the chants. Ranbir had his arm around Neetu, while Alia stood beside him smiling as the celebrations continued around them. Ranbir was later seen carrying the Ganpati idol himself as the procession moved ahead for the immersion. He appeared visibly involved in the rituals and joined other family members in chanting before bidding farewell to the deity.
