Report: Injury update for Bills WR DJ Moore - Bills Wire
The Buffalo Bills lost wide receiver DJ Moore because of injury during the team's Week 2 win over the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football.
Early on in the eventual 41-31 win for the Bills, Moore went down with with a shoulder injury. He did not return to the game.
Following the contest, head coach Joe Brady provided little update and avoided the topic during his press conference. Thankfully, we now have an update via report.
Buffalo's No.1 wide wide receiver had a ball thrown in his direction in the first quarter. It bounced off Moore as Lions cornerback Rock Ya-Sin dove to defend the play and he landed awkwardly on top of Moore.
Moore has stayed extremely healthy throughout his NFL career that began in 2018. Moore has played in more than 15 games every season.
Looking back at the report, it's unclear how long Moore could be out. However, it does help that the Bills are now off for 10 days after their game on Thursday. Buffalo next plays on Sunday of Week 3 against the Los Angeles Chargers. That game will be a 1:00 p.m. kickoff from Highmark Stadium.
Bills Wire will continue to provide updates as information is made available.
