Ruru Madrid renews contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center | GMA Entertainment - GMA Network
Primetime action hero Ruru Madrid officially renews his ties with Sparkle GMA Artist Center as he signs a new talent management contract with the Kapuso network. The contract signing was led by GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and Sparkle First Vice President Ms. Joy Marcelo, alongside other GMA Network and Sparkle executives and officers.
During the event, Vic del Rosario Jr., Assistant Vice President for Talent Management of GMA Network, recalled Ruru's journey from being a young teen star to becoming one of the most promising actors of his generation, while also honoring the late Director Maryo J. delos Reyes for bringing Ruru to GMA. Joyce Marcelo thanked Ruru for his continued trust, love, patience, and hard work for the network and Sparkle, while Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes looked back on meeting Ruru in 2012 when he was just 14 years old and one of the grand finalists of 'ProtΓ©gΓ©'. From his early days as a young performer who sang and danced to his rise as GMA's Primetime Action Hero, Ruru has continued to grow and take on bigger challenges in his career. His contract renewal marks another milestone in his journey as a Kapuso.
