Ryan Day got ripped by fans after Ohio State's stunning Texas collapse - USA Today

Ohio State coach Ryan Day suffered one of the worst losses of his tenure on Saturday night in Austin against Texas.

After commanding a big lead for most of the night, the Longhorns rattled off 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to pull off the "upset" (at least in terms of how the game was shaping before that last quarter).

For a game where the Buckeyes dominated all night long, watching the team blow such a lead and fall to 1-1 on the season in a game with clear College Football Playoff ramifications left fans befuddled... to say the least.

As you can guess, the social reaction was... not kind for Day.

The team plays Kent State on Saturday, Sept. 19, at noon ET at Ohio Stadium.
