President Cyril Ramaphosa is hosting his Kenyan counterpart, William Ruto, for a state visit at the Union Buildings on Thursday.
With the two nations being among some of Africa’s biggest economies, they want to improve intra-continental trade.
Since 1994, Nairobi and Pretoria have signed 28 bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding on economic cooperation.
The agreements focus on sport, education, migration and transport.
