Salman Khan’s visit to a Ganpati celebration hosted by Maharashtra minister Ashish Shelar in Mumbai on Thursday led to a brief interaction that is now being widely shared online. As the actor walked back to his car after offering prayers, a young fan approached him in the middle of the crowd. When the child was pushed in the rush, Salman objected, then stopped to speak to him before shaking hands with him.

Videos from the visit showed Salman arriving amid heavy security, folding his hands before Bappa and making his way through the crowd with a tilak on his forehead. The exchange with the child became the highlight of his exit.

The visit came soon after he joined Ganpati festivities at brother Sohail Khan’s home, where he took part in the aarti and immersion rituals with family members and guests.

In one of the videos from the event, Salman is seen walking towards his car after the prayers as people gather around him. A young fan comes forward in the crowd, and when the child is pushed amid the rush, Salman objects. He then pauses, speaks to the boy and shakes hands with him before getting into his car. The visit came soon after Salman joined Ganpati festivities at Sohail Khan’s home. He took part in the traditional aarti with his siblings and other family members before the Ganpati idol was immersed.

Videos from that celebration also captured a light-hearted moment with sister Arpita Khan, who noticed that Salman was performing the aarti the wrong way and quickly stepped in to correct him. Salman laughed before agreeing with her. He was also seen joining Iulia Vantur during the aarti, while Arhaan Khan, Arbaaz Khan’s son, helped with the immersion of the idol.

Salman’s siblings Arpita Khan and Alvira Khan Agnihotri attended the gathering with their families. Actor Varun Sharma was also among the guests and was seen offering prayers before the visarjan. The immersion took place within Sohail Khan’s building premises, where a large water tank had been arranged for the visarjan, and pictures and videos from the ceremony later surfaced on social media.

Another video from the family celebration showed Salman interacting with the paparazzi in a cheerful mood. He exchanged glances with a photographer, smiled and laughed before heading inside and greeting some of the guests. For the festivities, he kept his look casual in printed jeans, a matching jacket and a beanie over his newly cropped hairstyle.

Salman has also been seen at other Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations this season, including the Ambani family’s event in Mumbai, where videos showed him offering prayers to Lord Ganpati. His appearance at that celebration had also gone viral online.Work front
