Samsung launches Galaxy S26 FE in India, says it brings flagship features to more people
Samsung has launched the Galaxy S26 FE in India, expanding its Galaxy S26 family with a phone that focuses on flagship-inspired camera capabilities, Galaxy AI features and everyday performance. The new FE model combines a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an Exynos 2500 processor and a 4,900mAh battery, while also bringing a triple rear camera setup and Samsung’s latest One UI 9 software.

The Galaxy S26 FE is priced at Rs 79,999 in India for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant and comes in Pistachio, Blueberry and Graphite.
As part of the launch offers, buyers can get up to Rs 8,000 as an upgrade bonus when exchanging an old device. Customers can also opt for up to 30 months of no-cost EMI with select NBFC partners, along with an additional Rs 3,000 upgrade bonus. Another option includes Rs 7,000 cashback on major bank cards or a 12-month no-cost bank EMI.

The phone features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,900 nits of brightness. Under the hood, it is powered by the Exynos 2500 processor, while a 4,900mAh battery handles the power requirements.
On the camera side, the Galaxy S26 FE gets a 50-megapixel wide camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. There is also a 12-megapixel camera on the front.
Galaxy AI and software: On the software side, the Galaxy S26 FE runs Android 17 with One UI 9. Samsung says the latest version brings context-aware Galaxy AI features aimed at making everyday interactions more intuitive.
The updated Now Brief provides personalised information through customisable briefing cards, weather updates and wellness insights. Users can also create their own cards using a simple prompt. The Galaxy S26 FE is powered by the Exynos 2500, which is built on a 3nm process. The phone supports 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth 5.4.
Its 4,900mAh battery supports 45W wired charging, with Samsung claiming that the phone can reach up to 69 per cent charge in around 30 minutes when paired with a 45W adapter. It also supports 15W fast wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare.
The phone measures 161.6 x 76.9 x 7.4mm and weighs 193g. It also carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
