Sanya Lopez celebrated Glaiza de Castro’s pregnancy and shared her excitement over becoming an “ashti” to her longtime friend’s baby.

On Instagram, Sanya posted clips from the special screening of Glaiza’s film “58th,” held at the Shangri-La Plaza Red Carpet Cinema, and in the caption, referenced "Encantadia," where her friendship with Glaiza grew.

“I am officially an Ashti," Sanya becgan. "Congratulations, ate Glaiza! Aside from your baby, the film ‘58th’ itself is so beautiful. It is painful and heavy on the heart, but it is so well done! Truly something else! I am always so proud of my Apwe."

In the comment section, Glaiza replied saying “E correi diu Sanya! Thank you for your support, and I’m excited for this new chapter of us being Apwe to each other!”

In the world of “Encantadia,” an ashti is an aunt, and the word is often used by a niece of a Sang’gre.

Apwe means sibling, while e correi diu means I love you.

Glaiza announced her pregnancy on September 12.

According to the "58th" star, when she found out that she was pregnant, the news did not sink in right away.

“I think I had around five pregnancy tests because I couldn’t believe it,” she said in Filipino.

Glaiza had a delayed period for a week. At that time, her husband David Rainey was also in Ireland for a family trip.
