SA's road toll rises after two separate fatal crashes in a day - ABC News & Headlines – Australian Broadcasting Corporation

Two men have died in two unrelated crashes in Adelaide's southern suburbs on Saturday, bringing the state's road toll to 79. 

SA Police said emergency services were called to Coromandel Valley just before 4pm following reports of a motorbike crash.

The rider, a 41-year-old from Munno Para, died at the scene.

A few hours later in an unrelated incident, emergency services were called to Hackham following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a car.

SA Police said the driver left the scene and reported to the Christies Beach Police Station.

The pedestrian, a 60-year-old Hackham man, died at the scene.

Investigations into the two separate crashes are ongoing.

The state's road toll is now 79, compared to 87 for all of 2025 and 89 in 2024.
